lyrics
we lay our thoughts in sound – walls to hide behind – and when no one’s around, justify our failures – to tame our wild minds – hold on to in our hardest times – windows to could-have-beens reflecting our who-we-ares – and those seeds we once spilled in our garden and proudly watched to grow into trees now surround us as our furniture – first thing to burn down when this room catches fire | trading our time for comfort – try to define – out of control – i know that you tried to be everyone’s friend – but it’s always us and always them | and what’s once been divided will never turn into one – i can’t explain anger since i question our love – numbers can’t describe what hides behind your precious mind and what i search for the most is silence with my head laid high in the clouds – watch this mind fall appart from above | and when i’m gone too far, i hope someone’ll someday come here to live – wherever I’ll go, white plaster will remind me from under my nails – if these walls could talk I am sure they’d tell you everything – they watched me rise and watched me crawling down on my knees, begging them for sympathy – they’re just as white as me | we are ashamed of our naked skin under this white blanket of sanity – before we lay our heads down into another fever dream – and disappear completely from each other’s perspective – and last flashes of light astray in a weary blink – let me ask you for one last thing: could you paint the skies on my skin? – before i let this skin swallow me | and i’ll weightlessly shine in applause with the sun – with clouds i’ll shape what you wished for all that time – i’ll be there where the wind blows – i’ll make the dirt dance – all for the sake of your eyes – this sandcastle’s my home – here I lay myself down every night – if you reach through the walls, our hands will meet at the other side
Well written, well produced and interesting slovac Pagan black. The music is mostly mid paced with ton of atmosphere of old.
Enjoyed this one much more than their full length. Sagoth

Martin Svestka
